2nd Annual Free EKG Screenings and Blood Pressure Checks on February 9
Know Your Health Now to Provide No-Cost Screenings,
In Recognition of American Heart Month
Huntington Woods, Mich. - February 3, 2016 - To help all people better understand their current health status and live a healthy lifestyle, Know Your Health Now - which provides high-quality preventive health screening and diagnostic imaging exams - invites the public to receive free electrocardiogram (EKG) screenings and blood pressure checks on Tuesday, February 9 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.
All procedures will take place at the Know Your Health Now offices, located at 26711 Woodward Avenue, Suite LLB, in Huntington Woods, Mich.
These pain-free, non-invasive screenings take approximately 20 minutes, and all participants will receive a copy of their EKG and blood pressure readings, which may be used as a starting point for discussions with their primary care physician or other specialists.
“So many people are afraid of what a screening might reveal about their health, but it’s exactly that knowledge that could put their mind at ease, whether it’s about family history of a chronic condition or just fear of the unknown,” said Cindy Valentine, RDCS, president of Know Your Health Now. “We truly believe that everyone deserves to get the full picture of their current health status, so that they can lead the life that they want. Having that kind of knowledge about your own health is quite empowering.”
Know Your Health Now offers a wide range of affordable preventive health screening packages, which can detect anything from heart disease to a patient’s potential for stroke, valvular heart disease or Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD). Diagnostic testing services are also available, allowing patients whose doctors require more health information to choose a comfortable and relaxed setting.
