Unfortunately, Medicare and insurance companies typically don’t cover cardiovascular screenings unless patients have symptoms and heart disease still remains the number one killer of men and women in the USA. People who have a family history of cardiovascular disease want to know that they’re okay – we can provide that peace of mind for our patients.
Obviously, knowing an issue early gives patients more options in care. We want to empower our patients to be their own advocate and we arm them with important information about their health that they can share with their team of doctors.
